I chose Nigeria after Okocha and Kanu convinced me – Victor Moses

Super Eagles forward,Victor Moses has revealed that it took the intervention of ex-internationals ,Austin Okocha and Nwankwo Kanu, who convinced him to play for Nigeria, over England.

Moses who has been a revelation for Nigeria, since he made his debut in a Nations Cup qualifiers against Rwanda last year, played a pivotal role in helping Nigeria win the 2013 African Nations Cup.
The Chelsea player played for England in the youth levels and had an opportunity to play for the Three Lions, but he opted to represent his fatherland.

I played all through the age levels for England and when Nigeria first asked, I wanted to concentrate on my club football,” the 22-year-old told Mirror.co.uk.

Wigan coach,Roberto Martinez blamed the coaches of the English national team, for missing out on Moses,as he even spoke to Fabio Capello about him.

Stuart Pearce may have spoken to my agent about England, but he never spoke to me directly and Fabio Capello never spoke to me or showed any interest in me,” Moses revealed.

Nigeria asked again and it just seemed like the right thing to do.”

Jay-Jay Okocha and Kanu encouraged me as well before I started playing for Nigeria and it was great to speak to two legends of the country.”

It was amazing to win the tournament (AFCON). We did it for the nation. It means so much to everyone in Nigeria and it was great for me as well,” he said.

Growing up in Nigeria, football was obviously a lot different. We just played on the streets, often on bare feet, and you used anything you could for a football.

There were no facilities or teams. So it was a lot different when I came to England.
It took me a little while to get used to playing organised games, on proper pitches with all the gear.”

Help! Our Maid Now Harrases Me In The House Because I Mistakenly Saw Her Nak3d!

Recently, I gave a strict warning at home that no light must be on whenever there is nobody in the particular room (Prepaid meter blues). One evening, I saw the maid's light on and muttered, 'these people no dey hear word ' and entered to switch it off only to see the maid in her unclad glory towelling both her huge 'twin peaks' (she' about 20 yrs with a crazy physique for a local girl)...Quickly I froze, apologized and chastised her there why she couldn't shut the door.

She just smiled and said 'sorry sir'. Since then she's been giving me some silly coy looks, and looking for every opportunity to sweep my room whenever my wife isn't home etc etc. Should i just tell my wife what happened?, Should I fire her because of this her new funny attitude? Or Should I simply ignore and play along o? huhhh!

SHOCKER: Man Hides $15,000 In The Oven, Wife Bakes It By Accident

An oven is not a place to hide your cash. A man has probably learned a costly lesson where he hides his cash.

The unidentified father of Sydney, Australia, sold his car last week. The $15,000 in revenue was supposed to be spent on his mortgage paymentand other expenses, according to the Australian news media.

Opting not to squirrel away with the loot in a mattress or bury it in his backyard, he decided to hide the cash in his oven, which is rarely used.
It turns out, his wife decided to use the oven that day. She preheated the oven to warm up chicken nuggets for her two children and, yes, she cooked the cash in the process.

“It was everything we had,” he told the news media. “I have nothing in my name. Thatmoney had to go to my mortgage.”
His wife was equally distraught and apparently could not help but mourn to tell her husband after discovering what had happened. The money was baked in a mess of burnt colors.

He approached his lender and the Reserve Bank of Australia for help.

The Reserve Bank advises people to take damaged currency to a bank. According to the Reserve Bank’s policy, “if several pieces of the same ticket is presented, the policy of the Reserve Bank is that each piece to be worth some value in proportion to its size. The value total paid must be the face value of the original ticket. A man has probably learned a costly lesson where he hides his money in cash.

‘You must get a degree’ – Davido’s father insists

They say the biggest legacy a parent can leave for his-her children is education.

Every parent no matter the circumstances strives hard to live up to that statement and so is Nigerian billionaire businessman Deji Adeleke who seems hell bent on seeing one of his sons David ‘Davido’ Adeleke attending and graduating from University like every other child.

The last two years have been a handful for Davido – he didn’t just make a very successful debut in the Nigerian music scene but accelerated to the A-list spot, something that has taken other A-listers years to achieve. He’s released a debut album with chart topping singles, won international awards and performed in and out of the country, what else could he ask for?

Well, Davido isn’t doing the asking, his father is; more like demanding. NET sources say Mr Adeleke wants his son to enrol in a University and graduate with a degree.

And to make that happen, he has reportedly built an entire department at Babcock University (where he is currently a provost) for Creative Arts which will have Davido and his manager Kamal as the only students for now.

We’re told he has also bought a dedicated car which take the boys to and from school as they work to combine academic commitments with show business.

Davido and Kamal (who had to go back to school because of Davido’s father’s insistence) are using the opportunity to bond, a source tells us.

It is also likely his celebrity cousins Bayo ‘B.Red’ and Sina ‘Sinarambo’ Adeleke will be joining them soon.

‘Davido’s dad believes a lot in his music and HKN. He thinks David can take it to the next level but he also feels education is compulsory foundation for his son’, a source to the family tells us.

We learn he has been helping to put up necessary structures that’ll ensure the boys don’t mess things up. For starters, Mr Adeleke insists on meeting with everyone working with his son.

And the young pop star has so far been co-operative.

Davido’s mother Vera, an educationist herself was until her death in 2003, a lecturer at Babcock University.

UNILAG students damage Davido’s car after concert (PICTURED)

Dami Duro crooner, Davido, this evening, got more than he bargained for at the University of Lagos, after excited fans chased him in his car and ended up breaking one of the windows.

The HKN artiste, was in the institution to perform at the First Bank-sponsored Youth Excel Programme. After he held his audience captive with a great performance, the students refused to let him leave, trailing him to his car.

Davido, who just released controversy ridden single, ‘Gobe’, however took it in good faith.

He tweeted: “Damn they broke my car window at Unilag!! Still luv ma fans tho!! Bless yall!! Amazing show!”

See The Three Ways In Which Women Can Rapé Men.

There are three ways women can rapé men.

Adult women can and do commit statutory rapé against underage boys. When this phenomenon first came to light with a female high school teacher and an underage male student, it was shocking and I think many people assumed such a thing was freakishly rare.

Subsequently, a number of such cases have been publicized suggesting this kind of occurrence is not nearly as freakishly uncommon as many believed. As with men and underage girls, the complicity of the victim does not alter the criminality of the act.

The second way women can rapé men is through unwilling (anál or orál) penetration of men with fingers or objects. (I don’t know if unwilling orál pénetration is always treated as rapé in law.)

Finally, a woman can rapé a man through coércing them to pénetrate the woman with an eréct pénis. Though it is not easy to ‘will’ an erection, it’s not always impossible, either. Men, like women, can become physically ároused despite not actually wanting to have séx with someone. This may occur in response to physical mánipulation or other reasons. Coércion need not be through physical force, obviously; a man can be blackmailed into having séx (as one commenter described his own victimization here).

Dirty Man Strippéd Nakéd And Forced To Shower In Public (Photo)

Drama unraveled in the market after a 41-year-old hand-cart pusher was forcefully bathed by members of the public as traders and passers-by watched.

The man who is said to have gone months without a shower was washed in the full glare of the public as his wife and two sons watched helplessly.

Residents strippéd him nakéd and bathed him vigorously using powder soap and floor scrubbing brushes while shouting. They termed the man as a disgrace to other Juakali traders.

They also washed his clothes and inner wear which were extremely dirty due to the nature of his work.

The man who sells charcoal at the Keroka market tried to defend himself shifting the blame to his wife claiming that she does not wash his clothes but his allegations fell on deaf ears.

9-Year-Old Boys In Séxually Explicit Video: Is This Child Abuse? (VIDEO)

A lawyer for the family of a 9-year-old rapper who appears in séxually suggestive videos is criticizing authorities' decision to investigate whether the boy is the victim of possible child abuse or neglect.
The boy who performs as "Lil Poopy," is a thriving, well-adjusted fourth-grader with a good home life, good grades and musical talent, attorney Joseph Krowski Jr. said Monday of client Luie Rivera Jr., who is of Puerto Rican descent.
"This is just what I would call a racially-tinged investigation because whoever watched it probably doesn't understand rap," Krowski said of his client's work. "...This isn't some child left alone that's not going to school. It all comes down to content in the videos, which is protected by the First Amendment."
On Sunday, Brockton police asked state child welfare officials to look into possible abuse after watching Lil Poopy videos following a feature story about him in local newspaper The Enterprise.
Police said Monday they haven't filed any criminal charges. A Department of Children and Families spokeswoman confirmed that officials are looking into concerns about the young Brockton rapper's welfare.
The investigation will include interviews with everyone who lives in the child's home and likely others who have contact with the 9-year-old, such as school officials, DCF spokeswoman Cayenne Isaksen said. Child welfare officials can refer the case to the local district attorney's office if an investigation finds any criminal behavior.
"The filers of this report wanted to make sure the child is being properly cared for," Isaksen said. "...So the department will look into all aspects of this."
The videos show the boy slapping a woman's buttocks, engaging in séxually suggestive dances and glorifying drug use and materialism.
The boy's father, Luis Rivera, told The Enterprise that his son is acting and not doing anything wrong.
The newspaper said Lil Poopy has performed alongside Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, and was discovered in his father's music studio by the rapper known as French Montana, who founded Cocaine City Records.
Lil Poopy's music that was posted to an online mix tape site last October has lyrics that include him singing about being a "bad boy" and a "cocaine cowboy."
It showed about 8,600 downloads and 195,000 views by Monday afternoon.
YouTube posts also feature the boy singing "Coke ain't a bad word," and show him with Coca-Cola.

No Going Back On N4bn Peace Mission Building Proposal – First Lady

Dame-Patience-Jonathan-ThisDay-Style-BellaNaija-Exclusive-006-432x600[1]

The proposed N4 billion African First Ladies’ peace mission building project must not be turned down as canvassed by the opposition because it will amount to abdication of responsibility by Nigeria and such diplomatic somersault will be incongruent  with the country’s status and leadership role in Africa, the first lady, Dame Patience Jonathan said yesterday.

She refuted the claim that the peace mission building was a non governmental organisation (NGO) of the first lady, just as she implored Nigerians to be wary of politicians who see both the media and the unsuspecting public as instruments to pursue private and personal political objectives of bringing dishonour and embarrassment to government, using every issue that concerns her.

Kanye and Kim put their home up for sale?

About a month ago, it was reported that parents-to-be Kim and Kanye plunked down $11 million for a 10,000-square-foot Bel Air mansion.

Now it's being reported that the new Italian style home has been quietly put back on the market. That is according to The Real Estate Stalker.
Property records do indeed now reveal that in late January 2013 the couple - or at least Miss Kardashian through the same trust connected her former faux-Tuscan in the Bev Hills P.O.—coughed up an undisclosed amount of moolah for the big ol' Bel Air Crest crib in question that sits on three-quarters of an acre with scenic canyon and city views and was last listed with a $10,750,000 price tag.
However, don't count on K.K and Kanye to gut or expand the five bedroom and 6.5 bathroom mock-Med McMansion, as was previously reported they planned to do. In fact, don't even count on them moving into the damn house because, according to Patty, they are already in escrow to flip the pricey pad for about a million bucks more than the still unknown amount they paid for the place just three weeks ago

8 Lesbian Girls Expelled From Secondary School

Barely a week after the the local newspaper covered a story about the rising number of lesbians in Girls High Schools all over the country, the administration has now sent home eight girls over the matter.

The school’s principal, Pacifica Nyambong’i said that a group of eight students in Form Two, who were also jointly being investigated for arson claims, had been sent home and others readmitted after undergoing counseling and promising to change. The principal admitted that some Form Two students confessed to being lesbians who had lovers in the school while other girls denied the allegations.

“I received a note listing some girls as suspected lesbians who also planned to burn down the school on December 10th, we embarked on investigations to unearth the truth,” Ms Nyambog’i revealed. Those who confessed to being lesbians were forgiven, counseled and readmitted but those who denied were sent home.

The parents of those sent home have however mounted a strong defence to the allegations claiming that their girls were beaten during the interrogations in order to admit by force.

Also, Anglican run St James Girls High School in Zimbabwe has been hit by a lesbian s*x scandal which has resulted in the expulsion of pupils, one of them for offering a teacher s*x in exchange for lenience after being caught in the act.

The scandal reportedly started in June when two Form Six pupils were caught by fellow pupils in the middle of the night having a nice time under the sheets, BMetro reported. A report was made to school authorities.

After a probe, the two girls (names withheld) were suspended for two weeks. According to a source, the pupils showed remorse during the disciplinary hearing and promised to give up the lesbian antics. On returning to school after serving the sentence, the two are said to have kept a distance from each other.

“Everyone was convinced that they had indeed stopped their behaviour. They even stopped talking to each other and we all thought that the relationship was over. Little did we know that we were being fooled,” said a source.

SHOCKING: May Goldie’s Spirit Not Rest Yet!

One of the most tragic circumstances in life is the death unprepared for; it is when a man or woman dies at the prime of his or her career.

The thoughts of a wasted career, shattered dreams, impenetrable memories will take over the mind. The best anyone can do at such moment is to send reassuring, calming, and heartwarming messages to the family of the deceased. Of course, everybody wants to live to a reasonable old age as to take full advantage of their time on earth, to experience as much as they can, hence, it will be alarming to have anyone view premature death from a positive point of view.

Don’t say Goldie did not die young. She did not only die young, but also died at the peak of her career. She died when the world and Nigeria needed her most. Her death was like the fall of an Iroko tree. As far as the entertainment industry is concerned, something big and terrible has happened to the industry, and no suitable replacement can be found for Goldie.

Goldie never thought even for a day before her death that she was going to die soon, but it happened. The same is applicable to all of us. You never know when the Master will come, calling.

Now, it is despicable, unprofessional, and unethical for anyone who at the process of celebrating the artist’s exit to begin to circulate photos of her corpse on the internet. Goldie’s death must not create a forum for debate on whether corpses should be syndicated in the social media or not, it must not be seen as an avenue to launch and popularize our new blog. It is dishonorable for anyone to begin to drive for traffic with Goldie’s corpse. It appears to me as an insult to the family and to the entertainment industry for anyone to drive for twitter followership by tweeting and retweeting Goldie’s corpse. What the heck is that?

How would you feel if you were Goldie’s brother or sister looking at those pictures being circuited on the net, especially now that the shock of her death is still fresh in the memories? Don’t you humanly feel anything the moment you look at those pictures? Are you not shocked that photos revealing her embalmed body are being published in most blogs? What are the bloggers and twitter handlers trying to say? Are they supposed to be Goldie’s obituary photos? I have seen many Obituary photos in the past, including that of my dad (his blessed), and I have noticed one common thing, most people use the best pictures of the deceased. I have never seen when a corpse is used in an obituary.

The highest insult and disregard for Goldie’s death is the photo of her corpse being circulated on the internet. The question is, what are the authors exactly looking for? What message are they trying to convey? Is that a confirmation of Goldie’s death? Is there any respect and value placed on Goldie’s remains?

I personally believe that the photos were first taken by someone who is very close to the family, for having been able to take such a close shot of her corpse. The concerned individual betrayed Goldie, her family and the rest of her friends who are still battling to escape from the fever of her death. If all we owe Goldie is to take to twitter with photos of her corpse, then we never loved her in the first place. How much value would you place on such act, compared to the exit of Goldie?

Today, we all remember Goldie, tweeting rubbish about her, because her death is still fresh, but I can imagine how soon, all that will evaporate from our memories after her burial. I have seen and known the nature of some heartless Nigerians who don’t think that they can be lifeless like Goldie even in the next second. Some don’t even believe on the inevitability of death, so they smile each time the next person falls. Some hate their fellow man or woman even unto death. The ongoing display of Goldie’s corpse on the social media is obviously a sign of hatred, as those responsible for the act can even cut her corpse to pieces if empowered to do so.

Please take the photos down from whatever medium you are using, as it is ignominious. Pray for Goldie as a sign of your last respect and love. Pray for her family, her husband, and the entertainment Industry. Don’t kill and eat your neighbors, as you are no cannibals. Do you hate Goldie even unto death?

I had a dream last night, as Goldie had a cane in her hands; pursuing those, she called her enemies. By their fruits, we shall know them. Are you one of them? Goldie will kill you before you kill her the second time, if you don’t remove that dishonorable and appalling photo from your site. May her spirit not rest until you remove those photos.

You can say Amen to that with a good conscience. Check yourself.
