Reports reaching us says a fresh round of explosion has rocked Bauchi, the Bauchi State capital.
A source said a loud explosion was heard around the St John Catholic Cathedral in the vicinity of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University around the Bayan Gari area of the city.
Several are feared dead, and many others injured but we are unable to confirm casualty figure at this time.
The Bauchi Police Command’s spokesperson, Mohammed Hassan, confirmed he had also received report of the explosion but that he was on his way to the scene to confirm casualty and extent of damage.
