MODEL FOCUS: ADAORA AKUBILO

If there’s any young lady that fascinates us with her winsome smiles, it is 24-year-old Nigerian US-born model, Adaora Akubilo. Born in Windsor, Connecticut, Adaora had a remarkable experience growing up in Nigeria as a teenager. On relocating to U.S.A, acclimatizing was not easy as this presented its seething challenges. While in High School, she was approached by a model scout from John Casablanca. This is how her foray into modeling started!

As a professional model, she has done numerous campaigns for top brands. Recently, she featured in “Sports Illustrated 2012 SwimSuit Issue”, thus making her rookie debut in the 2012 Issue. We absolutely love every single shot taken! The Sport Illustrated shoot was photographed in Cairns, Queensland, Australia by Walter Iooss Jr. Here’s what we scooped!

Her hobbies include: reading, writing, listening to music, dancing, cooking, and being in the company of friends and family.
