Jilted Housewife Bathes Hubby With Hot Water

An aggrieved house wife, Madam Stella (surname withheld) has allegedly bathed her husband with hot water on a wedding ground last Saturday in Ofagbe Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State.

Police authorities said the house wife stormed the wedding venue (an Anglican church) unsuspectingly with boiled water and poured it on the husband and his new found wife.

The husband, a mobile police officer serving in Lagos had been transferred to Ogwashi-Uku where he was said to have found a new lover with lies that he was not married.

Sources said the girl, a graduate of mass communication from the Delta State University, Abraka, had been dating the police officer since the past one year before they agreed to get married.

LEADERSHIP gathered that the mobile policeman had meanwhile been married to a woman for over eight years with three kids but upon enquiries from his lover, denied the relationship.

The policeman and his lover finally agreed to their wedding last Saturday, but the information was leaked to his wife in Lagos who raced down to the village, at Ofagbe where the wedding was slated to hold.

According to our source, “the would be couple had assembled with their guest on Saturday when the unsuspecting wife sneaked into the church with a container suspected to be a baby flask and allegedly moved closer to them and ‘baptised’ them with the hot water, leaving hundreds of the guests in disarray.”

Instantly, she was said to have been whisked away by security agents who were on hand in the church to a nearby police station where she was reportedly detained, leaving her victims in severe pains.
